Add your voice to the call for housing equality
By becoming a supporter you commit yourself and your organisation or agency to advocate for the human right to housing and the six articles of the charter. The expectations of supporters are detailed in the campaign commitments designed to support the specific circumstances of each national context.
As a supporter you agree to:
- Advocate for the Articles of the Charter in your work and in your engagement with government
- Act as a national champion by encouraging peer agencies to adopt and promote the Charter
- Set realistic, achievable targets based on your national context, and advocate for their adoption
- Use any international relationships you have to encourage partner organisations to join the Charter movement
- Share national public data on housing within your location and area of influence
- Provide annual updates on progress towards recognising housing as a human right in your nation
- (Optional) Contribute information for a national profile page on the Charter website
Concerted global action can solve the housing crisis and the Charter offers a shared path towards housing security for all.
