Advocacy for social and affordable housing

Home in Place is an Australian based Community Housing Organisation (charity and Not-for Profit ) based in Newcastle, New South Wales. We also have a New Zealand subsidiary, and we are researching housing solutions in Fiji, Vanuatu and the Solomon Islands. We are also in the early stages of developing a presence in the USA. 

We have aligned our 10-year Strategy with Agenda 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals and have active partnerships with UN agencies including World Urban Campaign, UN Global Compact, UN ESCAP and have accredited status with UN Economic and Social Committee (ECOSOC). 

We have maintained a strong advocacy platform and were co-founders of the Australian Everybody’s Home campaign, which has successfully influenced Federal and State housing policies in Australia.
